Ms. Worhacz has worked in the legal field since 1990. She began her career as a legal assistant for insurance defense law firms in California until she moved to Arizona in 1992 and started working at Jennings, Strouss & Salmon. Ms. Worhacz joined Beale, Micheaels, Slack & Shughart in 1995 and has been a paralegal specializing in medical malpracatice and wrongful death cases since 1999. She also has extensive experience in railroad litigation and other catastrophic personal injury cases.
Ms. Worhacz handles case planning, development and management, legal research, communication with clients, fact gathering and retrieving information, drafting and analyzing legal documents, and collecting, compiling and utilizing technical information to assist the supervising attorney.
In addition to the day to day management of files, Ms. Worhacz prepares mediation memoranda, demand letters/demand packages, assists with negotiation of settlements, handles subrogation issues, probate matters and prepares disbursement sheets and disburses settlement funds.
Ms. Worhacz has prepared for and attended numerous trials in various Arizona counties.
